All across the Internet you will find recipes and cookbooks filled with favorite recipes handed down from family member to family member. Many of them have been put online for others to enjoy as well.
When it comes to an economical means of producing cookbooks as well as recipes you would be hard pressed to beat the Internet. All you need to do is create the recipe in a word processor and convert it over to a PDF file for others to use. You can use the word processor file but a PDF file is a better standard to use in case others don't have the same word processor as you. As for the creation of a cookbook, just do the same thing as in creating a recipe but put all the recipes into one PDF file and save them as a unit.

Children love to cook, they love the mess they get into and cooking is a great way to teach them math. Never thought about using cooking to teach children math? How many times have you had to alter a recipe by making it smaller or larger? Think back on the math you had to use for the ingredients. So the next time your children want to help you cook just give them an apron and get out of the way!
